History
1962 The company is founded to manufacture hatracks.
1966 Manufacture of bathroom cabinets begins.
1974 The company is acquired by HDF.
1980 All manufacture is outsourced.
1983 The company’s activities are transferred to HDF.
1995 Acquisition of Uppsala-based shower distributor Gent.
1995 Products sold in Norway for the first time.
1998 Products sold in Denmark for the first time.
2000 Hafa is formed as a separate business unit within HDF.
2000 Acquisition of the Danish bathroom company Hassel & Teudt.
2002 The business is converted to an independent subsidiary company.
2003 Hafa Oy is formed to serve the Finnish market.
2004 An outlet store is opened in Halmstad.
2005 A flagship store is opened in Copenhagen.
2006 A new outlet store is opened at the Freeport Designer Outlet Village at Kungsbacka.
2006 Westerbergs and Hafa are merged to form Hafa Bathroom Group.

2008 Hafa launches Hafa Igloo Flower, a designer shower with frosted pattern.
2009 Hafa opens three new stores in Denmark together with Evers Kakel, Denmark's oldest tile company. We start up our export to Vietnam and a showroom opens in Hanoi.
2010 Hafa Bathroom Group launches a new area of business to the professional market. Our premiere at the fair Nordbygg in Marchisa a great success. Hafa launches a shower, Igloo quack, limited edition pattern designed by Lasse Åberg. For every sold shower the company contributes to SOS Children's Villages.
2012 Hafa celebrates 50 years as a brand. A bathroom furniture calles Hafa Original 1962 is successfully launched.
2013 Hafa presents several product news. Hafa Life, Sun and One is received by the market with great enthusiasm, the same applies to Hafa wall, a shower with great flexibility.
2014 The new bathroom furniture Hafa Eden is launched, with a classic design and personal character.
2016 Hafa launches Hafa Edge and are advancing the boarders within design and quality iwithin the field of bathroom. Hafa Edge became 2016 recognized as the winner of the "Bathroom of the year" award, organized by Bad&Kökguiden.
